BDFC July News

Hi guys I’m back with yet another blog this time I am writing about the annual Harrogate tournament that Bradford Disability Football Club take part in every year.

During this tournament we play against different teams from all over the UK. . The players in each team and in each league are put in to leagues depending on their ability.

The managers for the teams during the tournament were Paul Jubb, Ken Knights, Mark Lighthowler,  ex Bradford City Player Joe Brown,Mo Tariq, Terry Parkinson,MickHeppleston, JaimieDorward Shaw and last but not least a certain double act calledTom & Dom from the award winning Bantams Banter.

Before the competition really starts there are grading games which are two or three games to see which league each team will be competing in on the day.

Below are the results of how each Bradford Disability Football Team did during the Harrogate tournament

Paul Jubb also managed this team too Bradford DFC B 1st

Adults

Joe Brown managed this team Bradford DFC A 4th

Mick Heppleston managed this team Bradford DFC B 5th

Mo Tariq managed this team Bradford DFC C 2nd

Jaimie & Bantams Banter managed this team Bradford DFC D 2nd they also won the Fair Play award

Terry Parkinson managed this team Bradford DFC E 1st they too won the fair play award

Mark Lighthowler managed this team Bradford DFC F 3rd

Ken Knights managed this team Bradford DFC G 4th they too won the fair play award

Each team that competed did exceptionally well to finish where they did and for the teams to win the fair play award. The teams that won the award did exceptionally well too. As this shows that they respected all the teams they played against and played fair also

All in all a great day was had by all involved and as you can see BDFC all had great results on the day.

On another note I don’t think Bantams Banter are cut out to be manager’s lol. Stick to your day jobs lol.

I’m signing off now hope you all enjoy reading this
