BE A RECORD BREAKER!

“THE GREATEST NUMBER OF FLAT CAPS AT A SINGLE VENUE”

GUINNESS WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT

WHERE?

Valley Parade

WHEN?

Easter Monday, April 6th 2015

Immediately after the match against Preston North End

HOW DO I JOIN IN?

You don’t have to have a Bantams Flat Cap to be a record breaker. Just wear ANY flat cap.

Of course, you can buy a Bantams Flat Cap, help raise funds for the Burns Unit (PSBRU) AND be a record breaker!

So, just come to the match in your flat  cap. Please encourage family, friends and colleagues to wear a cap and join us too.

Bantams Flat Caps and Bradford City FC warmly invite Preston North End fans to join us in setting a new Guinness World Record!

WHAT DO I DO?

Simple.

After the final whistle, please wait behind until other fans have left the stadium. Bradford City AFC stewards and staff will then direct all record attempt participants onto the Kop.

Participants will be asked to fill the seats in blocks C and D. Wearers of Bantams Flat Caps will be positioned in the front rows followed by wearers of other flat caps.

A numbered wristband will be issued to all participants in order to help count the numbers we get.

WHAT HAPPENS THEN?

Once assembled, an audible noise will sound the start and end of the World Record Attempt.

Participants must remain seated, with their cap on their heads, for five minutes. This is required by Guinness to recognise the record.

The event will be photographed as we try to recreate the pictures from the 1920’s and 1930’s when football grounds across the land were filled with cap wearers.

THEN WHAT?

Once the record attempt is complete, flat cap wearers will be directed to leave the stadium via the central walkway and exit between blocks C and D.

This will allow an independent observer to verify the numbers of cap wearers in the record attempt.

INTERESTED?

Then grab your cap, pop along to Valley Parade and set a new World Record!
