NEW OWNERS, NEW MANAGER, NEW ERA!

Well after getting over the bitter disappointment of our loss to Millwall in the playoffs, I now look forward to a new chapter in Bradford City's future.

With the Germans taking over I firmly believe it's a good thing and step forward for the club. Mark and Julian have taken us as far as they could and it was the right time to pass the club on, into other hands of who have more chance of taking the Bantams that step further. I am well aware nothing is ever guaranteed in football. However Mark stressed before we were taken over. He would only sell if the deal meant taking the club forwards not backwards after all his and Julian's hard work. I am confident that this will happen. I was happy with the takeover and still am as I speak.

Then came a bolt from the blue, after rumours I did not believe. Phil Parkinson leaving the club after some successful years. I was totally devastated and heart broken and I still am. Not only for all is managerial success. Including promotion and cup runs, But also for being so close via my team Bradford Disability FC. Parkinson to myself and my fellow team mates was more than he is to most fans. He was a mate or should I say we were close acquaintances.

Having met him on numerous occasions, he knew me well and his tactical team talk to BDFC when we visited City's training and took penalties, was magical and stunning moment. I want to thank him for everything and although Ifeel he has made the wrong move. I wish him all the best of luck and look forward to seeing him back at Valley Parade with Bolton. They have a top notch manager.

Moving on to our potential new manager. With all the names flying in and around. I have my favourites and less so favourites. But whoever is in charge, a real true supporter will stick by the club and its decisions and renew their season ticket. Those who do not or even threaten to, sorry but they are not true fans. Yes all are allowed their options and options I am all for that. But when it comes to such things like that, it's beyond just a opinion.

Thank you to both Mark & Julian for all they have done over the last few years and saving this club from extinction. So let's look forward to what should be a new exciting and successful era.
