BDFC held their first ever tournament at Marley Stadium which is in Keighley on Sunday the 14th august 2016.

Luckily the weather was dry and warm on the morning 45 teams took part in the event coming from as far afield as Germany, we also had teams from Wrexham, Beamish, Doncaster, Fleetwood and many more.

In the morning each team played grading games to see which leagues they would be playing in when the tournament properly gets underway. We then had a lunch break where there was a BBQ, ice cream van and also a sweet stall. This is when we get to mingle with other teams as well as other team mates from Bradford Disability Football Club.

The afternoon consisted of the tournament itself with games being played over 10 football pitches the sun started to shine. And we all tried to play our very best to our ability.

Everyone who was involved in the tournament had a brilliant day and we all got a medal at the presentation with the winning teams getting a trophy too
